Sewer Line Trouble? Camera First, Quote Second

★★★★★ Rated 4.9 out of 5 stars

Recurring backups, wet spots in the yard, sewage smell; likely the sewer line. Camera inspection locates the failure, then we quote spot repair, trenchless lining, or full replacement.

Every Sewer Line Service

Camera Inspection & Locate

Push-camera or crawler scopes the line; transmitter locates the failure’s depth and position above ground.

Spot Repair (Open Cut)

Localized failure, accessible run; dig down, replace the bad section, restore the surface.

Trenchless Pipe Bursting

Replace the entire run from access pits at each end. Pulls a new HDPE pipe through while bursting the old.

CIPP Liner (Cured-In-Place)

Insert a resin-saturated liner inside the existing pipe; cures into a structurally-new pipe-within-a-pipe.

Full Replacement

When the run is too compromised for liner or burst; open trench from house to municipal tap, replace.

Permits & Inspection

Most jurisdictions require a permit for sewer-line work. We pull it, schedule the inspection, sign off.

Why Diagnose Before You Dig

Four reasons careful sewer-line work saves the yard and the budget.

Camera First, Always

Every sewer-line dispatch starts with a camera scope. We show you the footage on a tablet, mark the failure’s location and depth, and quote off what we actually see; not a guess.

  • Live camera footage shown on tablet
  • Failure location + depth marked above ground
  • Quote based on what we see, not assumptions
Camera footage walked through with the homeowner.

Trenchless When We Can

Open-trench replacement tears up landscaping, hardscape, and driveways. We quote trenchless options (lining or pipe bursting) wherever the pipe condition allows. Your yard stays intact.

  • Two access pits instead of full trench
  • Driveway / patio / mature trees usually preserved
  • Same warranty as full replacement
Trenchless options reviewed at the kitchen table.

Permits & Code Handled

Sewer work touches the public main and triggers the building department’s involvement. We pull the permit, schedule the rough and final inspections, and pass them; you stay out of the city office.

  • Permit application + fees
  • Inspection scheduling
  • Sign-off without you involved
Inspection-ready work, every dispatch.

Restore the Surface

Whether the work was open-cut or trenchless, we restore the surface; sod, gravel, asphalt patch, or concrete patch; to the same standard the rest of the yard or driveway holds.

  • Sod replaced (not just dirt back-filled)
  • Hardscape patched flush
  • Driveway / sidewalk surface matched
Surface restoration matched to surroundings.

Sewer Line FAQ

How sewer-line problems get diagnosed, what trenchless options exist, and what to expect on the work.

How do I know it’s the sewer line and not just a clog?
Telltale signs: multiple drains backing up at once (toilet flushes into the tub), sewage smell outside the house, soggy strip across the yard tracking the line’s path, or repeated mainline clogs that come back within weeks. A camera scope confirms.
What is trenchless sewer repair?
Two main approaches. Pipe bursting pulls a new HDPE pipe through the old one from access pits at each end, breaking the old pipe outward. CIPP lining inserts a resin-saturated felt liner that cures into a new pipe inside the old one. Both avoid trenching the entire run.
Can my line be lined or burst, or do I need a full replacement?
Depends on the failure type and pipe condition. Lining works when the existing pipe is intact enough to hold the liner during cure. Pipe bursting works when there’s no major collapse and access pits are achievable. We tell you which (if any) trenchless option fits after the camera scope.
How long does sewer-line work take?
Spot repair: typically 1 day. Trenchless lining: 1–2 days including cure. Pipe bursting: 1–2 days. Full open-trench replacement: 2–5 days depending on length, depth, and what gets restored on top.
Will my insurance cover sewer-line repair?
Standard homeowners policies usually do NOT cover sewer-line damage from age, root intrusion, or normal wear. Some carriers offer a service-line endorsement that does. Damage caused by a sewer backup (flooded basement, ruined contents) is sometimes covered if you have a separate water-backup endorsement.
